This seasons fabrics at Etro are silky and fluid, silks and satins move and flow elegantly over the body, with touches of intricate stone and thread embroideries and fringe. Dresses are rife with intricate pleating giving texture and structure to the flowy shapes.

Etro have created a signature paisley print that is based on Futurist artist Fortunato Depero, which is a mix of stencilled florals and paisleys giving a super modern look. Patterns are strategically placed to emphasise the curves of the female shape, with geometric shapes gently thrown into the mix to create a very exotic edge. The fabrics are rendered in sorbet colours like apricot, mint, raspberry, lemon, peach, cream and ice blue, and black block trim cut the softness.

The majority of dresses that hit the catwalk at todays show had dropped waistlines, or even no waistlines at all, this mixed with the silky fabrics gives a loose, boxy shape that creates a dance-like movement.

Accessories are hard frame handbags and clutches, and earrings are oversized and tribal in metal and stone. Shoes are extremely simple with strappy sandals both flat and high heeled, with simple tennis shoes also.
