I could easily get lost in the “sea” of CDs which are part of an installation created by Leticia Bajuyo. They were donated and used to create the massive horned sculptural installation, which exhibited this year at the Woman and Their Work gallery in Texas, earlier this year.

Its amazing how Bajuyo has managed to stick all the CDs together and formulate something so diverse and coherent.  I found the sculpture so fascinating because I am so intrigued by how the sculpture was made. The method is surprisingly simple, CDs are “sewn” together and cable ties and hula hoops hold together the whole sculpture, strengthening it. The result is something so spectacular that you cannot just let it pass by.
