ARTISTS – ROB AND NICK CARTER/ 20.10.12

These explosions of paint against a clear blue sky are entitled ‘paint pigment photograph series’ and were created by London artistic duo Rob and Nick Carter. I love the fusion of colours in this series; such vibrant colours are guaranteed to cheer anyone up. The energy and force behind these works is phenomenal, you feel like you’re literally witnessing colourful fireworks.

 

 

Something that I find particularly interesting is how these paint explosions which are man-made strikingly contrast against the naturally formed clouds in the background. With these pieces you can imagine what clouds would look like if they were different colours.
