FINE ARTIST – ANDRE PETTERSON/ 05.07.12

Andre Petterson is a fine artist who combines photography with painting to create these stunning pieces. I’m so intrigued as to what inspires his pieces. He has such a distinct style but I can’t quite place the concept behind them.

 

 

Andre uses a limited colour palette in his artwork. The background colour is either a washed out grey/white or black and he rarely strays away from neutral colours.   I love the images of the horses; horses are naturally beautiful anyway and he has created the perfect balance between the crisp photographs and softer use of paint.
