INTRODUCING THE FASHION156CREATIVE TALENT – GEORGIE WILEMAN/ 31.07.12
To continue our introductory series for FASHION156CREATIVE, today we celebrate the raw style of young photographer Georgie Wileman.
Having been featured in Dazed Digital, Fiasco, Idol and various other respectable publications, Georgie Wileman has kick-started her photography career with a bang and is definitely one to watch with an amazing amount of potential.
With the growing popularity of photography throughout today’s youth, it can be tough to pinpoint raw and passionate talent but Georgie is such an example of someone with originality. Her versatile skill shines through her rough and washed out imagery that allows her to capture the real spirit and movement of the people and places that she works with.
Having previously collaborated with photographer Cecilie Harris on Boys by Girls, (who we featured yesterday to start off the series), Georgie holds similar interests to Cecilie in capturing male models and showing their pure personality through the photograph. Whether it be through editorial or personal projects, her unpolished feel is what makes her work as unique as it is and she brings a fresh feel to the world of photography.
Photography isn’t all that Georgie has to offer – she has directed and edited a number of short films as well, all of which you can find on her page on the FASHION156CREATIVE website. At just the infancy of her career, we are excited for what is to come with Georgie and her versatile use of ideas and imagery.
