PHOTOGRAPHER AND DESIGNER – PAUL OCTAVIOUS/ 14.08.12

Since I stumbled on Paul Octavious’s work I have been cursing myself as to why I hadn’t discovered him before.  I was struggling as to what to feature as so many of his projects are outstanding but finally decided to showcase his photo series titled Puffin clouds.

 

 

Looking through his work I can tell that he is a concept led artist and this attribute is what, for me, differentiates artwork from master pieces – concept lead work has this edge to it that is not present in others.

 

 

You can see from this series Paul has recreated scenes/ photographs by adding artificial clouds.   This series alone is a window into his creativity – he has used one medium to recreate many different things; clouds, hurricane and even a parachute.  Paul also makes phenomenal film as well, you must take a look at his website.
