PHOTOGRAPHER – JONAS LINDSTROEM/ 14.11.11

Jonas Lindstroem is a multi-talented man, and has tried his hand successfully at both photography and graphic design. But he’s a fashion photographer at heart. Even his portraits, the most personal pieces in his portfolio, are cleanly style and imbued with fashion’s high shine. He’s also a photographer that clearly prefers to work with absurdly beautiful people all of the time.

 

But what drew me to Lindstroem’s work is the off-kilter approach he sometimes takes to fashion photography. He has an eye finely tuned to detail, so even his flawless models reveal themselves through his photographs. He’s also got a bit of a sense of humor, and it’s the way he sells the clothes he’s shooting with a wink that sets his photos apart.
