I first learned about photographer Paul Whitfield though his fashion editorial work with the alternative music publication ‘Crack Magazine’. After researching Whitfield a bit more (which is a fancy way of saying that I snooped around on his website) it must be stated that as much as I enjoy reading that publication, there’s no way that their production value can do any justice to the photographer’s work.


Whitfield’s fashion photography, while fairly typical in that it employs incredibly gorgeous women as a major tool, is remarkable in that it demonstrates incredible range. Whitfield, it seems to me, has mastered every editorial style from sleek to sultry to profoundly unfussy to soft and sweet
